5/4 Spring Renewal Vision Board Creation

It’s finally Spring, and it’s a great time to act, create, and bring to life your intentions. Join us on the new moon to get centered and gain clarity on what seeds you want to plant and what dreams you want to manifest. We’ve designed this workshop to help you get in touch with your intuition in order to envision and take the first step in what it is you want to create in your life.
This is a sacred and ongoing practice, for creatives and non-creatives alike, for anyone who is interested in getting in touch with their inner voice, seeking deep reflection, growing their mindfulness practice, and manifesting their highest intentions and goals.
When we vision board, we clarify and craft our intentions for how we want to live our life. We get the chance to look closer at our relationships, work, home-life, and spiritual growth as we hone in on what is most meaningful. We can bring a visual understanding to our intentions through the act of finding images and statements we resonate with and bringing them together through collage.
By creating a vision board we give ourselves a composition to reflect on- to help inform all the little decisions that make up the day, week, month, year going forward. Just like images of nature can bring a sense of tranquility, your vision board will have a message for you.
This workshop and future sessions will be held on or close to the new moon, to help amplify our intentions.

Art supplies will be provided, and creative techniques will be shared
Space is limited to 8 participants per workshop to keep the intimacy of the practice and to comfortably work in our space. Additional sessions will be offered. If the above session is sold out, please email us to be put on the waitlist.
Please arrive 5-10 min early to settle in. Dress comfortably and warm. Bring slippers or indoor shoes if you have them. We will be sitting on the floor. If you need any accommodations, please contact us in advance.
Please bring a blank journal or one that you have just started. All other creative supplies and materials will be provided.
Refreshments including decaffeinated tea, water, and light snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring additional snacks or beverages to share.
ABOUT FILIZ and ALISON
Filiz Soyak is an international mixed media artist whose work is deeply connected to her intuition and mindfulness practice. Her artwork has been exhibited and collected internationally for the past 20 years including one-woman shows in Tokyo, Amman, Charlotte, and New York City. Filiz also has extensive experience as an educator with a Masters degree in Visual Art Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, M.A.. She has taught visual art, graphic design, and technology to students with diverse abilities from pre-K age to adulthood in the U.S., Middle East, Asia, and Caribbean. In addition, Filiz has a decade of experience developing curriculum and education programs for schools, non-profits, and government organizations in subjects including visual art, financial literacy, nutrition, and environmental stewardship. Filiz currently lives with her husband and toddler in Hudson, New York where she recently opened a studio and lifestyle shop named FILIZ. Alison Fox is an artist and educator born in New York City. She holds an MFA in painting from Hunter College and is a RYT Yoga Teacher. She has been teaching art for over 15 years to students of different ages, backgrounds and abilities. Currently Along with teaching Alison has an established art career. Her work has been reviewed in the New York Times, Art in America and ArtNews and is part of the Guggenheim Museum collection. Alison is inspired to bring meaningful ways for clients to engage with creativity and mindfulness through their own art making and movement. For more information visit www.artalldaystudio.com
