This project was started to inspire hope in 2020 when the world experienced uncertainty that came with the global pandemic of COVID.

Today, we find ourselves in more uncertain times.

Now more than ever, it feels important to remember the power of uniting with collective positive intentions.

My wish for the project is for it to keep growing. 

If you could wish for one thing for yourself, your loved ones, the collective, the earth, what dream would you send into the wind?

I will meditate on each wish, set an intention for it, and intuitively create a symbol to represent it.

The inaugural iteration of the physical project was installed from August - November 2020 activating the Hudson River Skywalk linking the two historical sites of Frederic Church’s Olana and Thomas Cole Site. Breath Flags was the first art installation to be installed in this location, with the approval and support of both historical art sites, the NY State Transportation Authority, and was sponsored and supported by The Hudson Eye 2020.
